Funeral prayer services (Jan?zah) will be offered at LCIC from April 2020, inshaAllah.
We will provide facilities for the preparation of bodies for burials and have all the facilities to wash and shroud the deceased or maintain their cadaver in cold storage. The mosque ensures that the service aspect of a janazah is carried out as best as possible before the departed is taken to the graveyard.
We can also assist with:
- Obtaining certificate from GP or hospital
- Obtaining death certificate from the registrar’s office
- Obtaining Coroner’s report for sending bodies abroad
- Assisting with travelling arrangements from the hospital to the masjid and masjid to the cemetery
All of the above will be provided absolutely free of charge, but we kindly request a donation is made to the masjid.
